grizzly's question:
What are the main touristic objectives in Luang Prabang?(give a different answer) .
One of the best places to visit in Luang Prabang is the Royal Palace Museum, which hosts the golden Buddha after which the town was named. All those of you who are art lovers will definitely appreciate the French mural paintings inside the palace. Entrance costs only 2,5 US$ and guide is included.
On the slopes of Phu Si, you'll find that the temples(rather recently constructed) give you a superb view of the whole town. All this for only 1,5 US$.
